Wow, I love the colors you used in this piece as well as the overall image. I can notice very faint images of women in the back as well. Did you intentionally use certain brushstrokes to resemble female figures in the background? BtW, this piece reminds me of Blair Witch 2. I'm not sure if you've seen it, but if you have, you might now what I'm talking about

bit like Botticelli , with the dancing women in the forest- the title sort of suggests that to me, that you're re-looking on past work. Like it alot, though.

what I wanted here is to preserve the sense of life, to endow it with the strength and beauty I see. I wanted this to stare back with the uncertainty at the core of human experience

There's a freaky scene in BW2 where they see a naked woman holding onto and twirling around a tree. That's what your picture reminds me of. The movie's pretty good, but I thought the original Blair Witch was waaayy scarier ^^;
